What did I do during my half term away from school? Whilst all my friends were going out I was doing work experience. This does sound like doom and gloom but actually it was the opposite, it’s been a eventful two weeks of laughs, work and generally just a good time amongst all of the staff and Sue Hill herself can have a laugh or two!
When you hear working in a office you can already picture a dull, boring, and depressing work place, but this is no where near the story at Sue Hill, with the delightful smiling faces throughout the building you are welcomed in with warm, open arms which make it feel as though you have been here for years. While there are all these happy faces people still do the hard work, to get the jobs done by deadline day.
I have been stuck with my older sister….every younger brother’s dream. But it has actually been a good two weeks, not the nightmare that I imagined it was destined to be, where I have learned of the hard work that is done at this company by my sister and all of her working colleagues. I have come to respect their hard work and I have appreciated what they have taught and shown me to do within the working environment that Sue Hill has to offer, and all the hard work.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my last two weeks here at Sue Hill and it will be a half term I will remember for a lot of pleasant surprises and reasons, and whilst a part of me wishes that I could stay on for a little bit longer, the other part is happy to be leaving my sister for the days. Thank you.
