From Jagger to the Two Ronnies I came across this bit of Friday fun a few days ago, I can’t believe I’d never seen it before.
For many years my sister worked in a public library as well as numerous bookshops and has by now lost count of the number of times customers came in asking for a book, author and title unknown, but it had a [insert colour of choice] cover.
A new year, a chance to reconsider the effectiveness of the classification scheme? No probably not, but a reminder that people search for things in different ways.
