On a very cold and very early Friday morning Sue and I headed Up North on the 0754 train to the Northamptonshire countryside (well, Daventry) for the TEAM Conference at the Staverton Park Hotel.
The event kicked off with a golf hole in one competition. I am definitely no Rory McIlroy so we decided to skip this part and thought it safer to stay indoors and find a hot beverage to keep us warm. The event comprised 40-minute workshops running throughout the day covering all aspects of the recruitment world including social media, training, PR and advertising. I particularly enjoyed the session with Jeremy Snell on negotiation and the value of recruitment. There was also a conference space where suppliers to the recruitment industry exhibited, from software companies to back office solutions.
The day was well attended by recruiters from all sectors and the sessions were very interesting and insightful. Working in the recruitment industry is a constant learning curve and thanks to TEAM for organising such a great event.

Good to hear it Ryan! Sounds like a worthwhile conference.
Only 1 minor issue.... "Up North?" and you got as far as Daventry????
Do TEAM do any geography programmes, per chance?
Take care.
